Hoia-Baciu is a peri-urban forest on the western edge of Cluj-Napoca, beside the Romulus Vuia Ethnographic Park. The municipal tourism office describes an area of about 300 hectares. This is both woodland and part of the landscape around a large city, not an isolated wilderness beyond ordinary life.
